The maps show the developments of Pentland between 1980 and 2007.
- [x] It can be seen that some areas were demolished or relocated to make room for recreational amenities. Also, there were additional roads to help people access more fields.
- [x] Looking at the 2007 map, an industrial area was replaced by a multi-story car park in the northwest block. Other amenities were also constructed nearby, including a park and a swimming pool to the north and east of the car park, respectively. Besides, a cinema was built on a former grassland in the southwest of the map.
- [x] After the development, the sea was developed into a yacht marina and circled by a new road which linked directly to the main road. Another road, which separated the southeast corner into two residential, was also extended in the southeast of the map. Apartments, which overlooked the marina, were located in the top right corner. Besides, many shops were opened alongside all the roads.
