The maps illustrate the differences between the development plan and the current condition of a town called Islip.
Overall, the plan shows that there will be more buildings built and a dual carriageway will be constructed.
The first change is the city center will be broadened bigger to replace the countryside. Looking more closely at the map predicting the future for the city, there is the appearance of a two-lane road running around the town center, which makes it easier for transporting in and out the downtown. Then, the main road in the middle of Islip will be replaced with a pedestrian street only. In the center of Islip, the shopping area in the north is planned to be demolished to make way for several constructions namely bus station, shopping center, car park, as well as a noticeable addition of new houses in the most north. Households in the south of the center will be constructed to become larger, which results in the narrow down condition of the only park in Islip.
However, the school outside the dual carriageway will be renovated into a bigger school because of more citizens living in Islip. The final foreseeable feature is that houses nearby the school will remain unchanged.
