The 2 maps present how a coast area in Australia changed from 1950 to now.
Overall, it can be seen that there is a great expansion of the road connecting the city and the beach. In addition, there are more recreational destinations for adults compared to the past.
In 1950, the road which linked the nearby city with the beach was ended by a car park on the right, more than 70 years later, the road is prolonged and connects the city with the lighthouse near the beach. In 1950, next to the main road, there were a playground, dining tables, and a pavilion, however, today, the playground has been already replaced by a new car park.
In the past, alongside the beach, there were 2 twenty-five-meters pools located symmetrically. Nevertheless, the pool on the left side has been altered by a 50m one, besides, there are constructions of a restaurant as well as 2 surf clubs, one is next to the lighthouse, one is on the opposite side.
