The two pictures below shows some information about small-scale town at that moment and plan for improving Islip.
First of all, at the map number one we can see main road, some shops, not big park and the educational facility is presented by school. It is contrasted by the map number two, where going to build large shopping centre, bus station and car park. although area of park would be sharply decrease.
Secondly, it is interesting to note, that main road would be allow to pedestrians only. Also around the town centre planning to pave the road for automobiles, which name Duel carriageway.
Thirdly, in the future would be more new housings, which locate first near the park and second at the side of shopping centres parking.
Based on this points we can get a information about plan of future developing tine town Islip.
