The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now and plans for its development.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The illustrations demonstrate a blueprint for the improvement of Islip town center as well as the current structure of the center.
In the plan, the main road is going to be recreated where vehicles can access the entire center and the placement of the former road is bound to be accessible by pedestrians only. The shops are aligned in a single area making it easy and safe for the people to shop. At the back of the shops, there is an added housing as well as in the front of the shops at the top right corner where another route is made to access the new housing. Just at the side of the housing lot is a car park followed by another shopping center and bus station.
The only structures that remained static are the school and the housing at the southern part of the center across the road. Also, the park, just at the side of the new housing.
