The diagrams illustrate the existing layout of Norbiton's industrial land and the coming redesign of this area.
The industrial area will be changed into residential area in the future and the factories will be repalced entirely. The roundabout in the centre of the land won't be moved.
There is the farmland on the other side of the river, but a new household community will be built there and the size of farmland will be reduced. A bridge across the river is going to be constructed to link the new community to the main road and along the road will have a new housing place as well. The land between the town and roundabout is empty now but will have some new residents and a new road sooner, with shops locate in the southwest of roundabout.
Besides the shops, other convenient amentities are planning to be built to the east of roundabout, including a school, a playground, and a medical centre. The old road will link these amentities and along the road, the factories will be replaced by new housing area.
