The maps below show university sports courts in 1990 and now. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two maps depict how the university sporting facilities looked like in 1990 and how they have changed since then.

Overall, it is clear that indoor activities venues have been merged under one roof, while outer space was transformed into a couple of sporting courts at the expense of a car park as well as a greenery. To further diversify workout options for students, a fitness centre was added, so as a changing room enlarged.

Previously, the university sporting site consisted of a tennis court together with an outdoor pool positioned alongside a set of separate buildings, such as reception, cafe, and a locker room. However, the remaining space did not offer any exercise grounds, being occupied by a green park with some parking slots directly below it.

Presently, the reception entrance abutting to the cafeteria remain unaltered, although, both are now a part of the roof-covered complex. Furthermore, to fit in the new structure, the swimming pool was moved inside the premises. The current set-up includes a larger zone for locker rooms that is positioned between the newly built gym and the pool. Nevertheless, the most notable change is renovation of the outdoor area where the garden grounds were replaced by a basketball court, while the tennis playground was doubled in size at the expense of the parking.
