The maps : the plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now and how it will look after redevelopment.
The maps illustrate the alteration of the sport centre of the university in present and in the future. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the replacement of outdoor area into other sport facilities.
To begin with the west part of the sport centre, there will be a new changing room to the southwest of the pool, which is the corner of the building, in which it will be constructed in between a new leisure pool and a new sport’s shop, which are in the north of new changing room and in the east of new changing room respectively. In contrast, the look of the middle part of the building remained unchanged in later times.
In accordance with the east of the building, there will be two new dance studios to the east of the new sports hall, which will, additionally, replace the outdoor courts in present time. Furthermore, the café will also be built to the west of the entrance in which it is next to the new changing room.
