Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the outskirts have become more modernized with many new facilities have been built.
The biggest change about the outskirts was the conversion of the large fields in 1980 into the warehouses in 2015. The tennis courts have been converted into the sports center and a car park next to it. The park to the west of the outskirts has been transformed into a multiple houses area. The large roundabout has been built right in the center of the outskirts during 2015. The terraced houses have been demolished and turned into a location for another car park and a supermarket.
The array of houses on the top of the maps and the hotel to their right remained unchanged over the period. The erection of the grocer’s shop and block of flats have enlarged the empty area to build the roundabout in 2015.
To summarize, Forsby’s outskirts presented on the maps have a significant development from 1980 to 2015.
