The pie chart below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production of France in two years.

The pie chart illustrates the comparison between various types of energy production of France in two different years, 1995 and 2005. Overall, at first glance it is clear that to produce energy coal was given higher preference, but other methods to generate energy were given the least amount of preference in both the years.

To initiate with, in 1995 and 2005 majority of energy was produced using coal, at 29.80% and 30.93% which was followed by gas with 29.63% in 1995 were as in 2005 it slightly rose to 30.31%. However, energy production with the help of petrol in the year 1995 was 29.27% but in 2005 this percentage dropped to 19.55%.

Secondly, least amount of energy was generated by making the use of nuclear power, at 6.40% in 1995, although, in 2005 this number grew to 10.10%. Furthermore, other methods stood on the last position in both the years with 4.90% and 9.10%.
