The given pie chart depicts the contribution of the reasons for students choosing a certain British University in 1987 and in 2007.
In 1987, the main feature that attracted slightly more than a third of students were suitable degree courses. After 20 year period, favourable degree education have remained in the foreground. Suddenly, closeness to parental home, which was chosen by only one tenth of undergraduate in 1987, became more significant factor. By 2007, roughly twice as many students as 20 years ago were convinced in importance of nearness of a university to parental house.
It's almost one-fifth of the undergraduated prefered sports and social activities in 1987, in 20 years, it was considered as the prior argument by the tiny minority. The quality of teaching has experienced minor change, rising from 15 to 18% of contribution. On the contrary, the level of resources fell down in its gravity. The initial persentage amounted to nearly one fifth of students, eventually declining to 17% of students.
On the whole, slight changes had occurred in differences of undergraduate in choosing a particular University in the UK.
