the pie chart compares water usage in San Diego, California, and the rest of the world
The chart gives information about the proportion of using water for residential, industry, and agriculture in San Diego, California, and worldwide
It’s obvious that water usage for homes is more than for industry and agriculture in the American regions. By contrast, the proportion of consuming water by agriculture accounts for the vast majority of the water used in the rest of the world
In San Diego County and California, residential water consumption takes up 60% and 39% of the total water usage. However, this figure is completely opposite to the world as a whole. Just only 8% of the water used for homes can be described throughout the chart shown.
A dramatic difference can be witnessed in the percentage of agricultural water consumers with more than two-thirds, but only 17% and 28% water usage in San Diego Country and California respectively. A similar proportion can be seen in industry water usage with 23% in San Diego Country and worldwide, while this figure for California is 10% higher, at 33%
