Pie Charts

The three pie charts illustrate the information about the changes in percentage of annual spending on insurance, teacher's and other worker's salaries, resources, furniture and equipment in UK school in 1981, 1991, and 2001.

Firstly, in 1981, school spent 40% on teacher's salaries which was highest expenditure among all whereas, 28% was spent on other worker's salaries. Additionally, 15% was spent on resources such as books and furniture and equipment. Only 2% was spent by school on insurance. Furthermore, in 1991, teacher's salaries increased to 50% while expenditure decreased to 22% for other worker's salaries. Whereas, 5% was rose for resources while, 5% fell for furniture. Only 1% was increased for insurance.

Secondly, in 2001, expenditure on teacher's salaries went down by 5% and school spent 15% on other worker's salaries which was rose compared to 1991. Similarly, the percentage of resource was fell to 9%. In contrast, 23% was spent on furniture and equipment which was increased significantly while, school spent 5% more on insurance as compared to 1991.

Overall, from the pie charts, school spent more on teacher's salaries and less spent on insurance while, some fluctuation can be seen for spending on furniture and equipment.
