The information about world population, spending and consumption of resources by each world’s continents is shown in the 3 pie-charts. The figures are given in percentages. Overall, it can be seen that even though population of Asia is a majority, it is not the world’s main resources consumer but USA and Europe. Moreover, the others resource type is by far the highest proportion in the world spending.
To begin with, both USA and Europe are 14% of the world’s population which its sum are 28%; however, they consume 60% of the world’s resources which is the largest consumption rate. Although other countries including Asia, Africa, and others are accounted for 72% of all population, but their resources usages are 40% lower than those of USA and Europe.
Moving to the world’s spending, the resources are used in other activities the most, which make up by far the highest proportion for 40%. In addition, food are next with just under a quarter. The remaining including clothing, housing, and transport are all lower than a fifth ranging from 6% to 18%.
