The pie chart for world population shows Asia has the largest human residing civilization, i.e. 57% of the globe. However, it would be naïve to overlook on the fact that Asia, is the largest continent, thus, having more land area compared to others.
Europe and America has 14% of the world's population. Africa being at third position consist of 10% of the populations. It can be inferred that other continents such as Australia hols 5% of the world's population.
Secondly, overviewing the consumption of resources USA and Europe contributes 60% alone. Rest all continents contribute 40% all together. Hence, we can inferred that the other 40% of the globe practise more minimalism than USA and Europe. USA and Europe has noticed to have more of "use-and-throw" goods over recycling goods.
Lastly, the world spending chart states, people most commonly spend on other activities, i.e. 40% of the total spending. Food constitutes of about 24% which is equal to transport and clothing combined. Housing constitutes of about 12% of the world spending.
Hence, to recapitulate, Asia being the populated continent, however, USA and Europe, has higerher rate of consumption of resources.
