The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production of France in two years

The two pie charts show percentage of five kinds of energy production in France in 1995 and 2005.

Overall, it is noticeable that whereas, almost all sources of energy increased noticeably, petro was the only source that experienced a dramatic decrease over the given period.

In 1995 coal and gas were two main sources of energy, making up 29.8 and 29.6 percent of total energy production respectively. In the following period, they both went up slightly by only about one percent. By contrast, nuclear and other sources of energy accounted for a mere 4.9 and 6.4 percent accordingly. At the end of the given period they had a significant growth, nuclear sources reaching about a tenth and other sources constituting roughly 9% of the pie chart.

Although, petro generated one of the most amount of energy (29.27%) in 1995, it decreased dramatically representing 19.55% of total energy in 2005.
