Games have the highest percent and social networking comes second on both types of device. The least time spent on mobile phones is spent reading news, while the least time spent on tablets is spent using utilities.
The majority of time spent on the two electric devices contributes to gaming with smartphones at 35% and tablets accounting for half of the pie at 57%. The majority of both platforms, on smartphones, are news and utilities, each with 3%. The figure of music and video on smartphones and other on tablets are similar at about 8%. As far as most categories are concerned, the percentage hasn't differentiated much between the two types of devices. However, with the exception of utilities, they spend almost 7 times as much time on smartphones as on tablets at 20% and spend nearly double the time on social networking on phones as on tablets in the same category.
