The given graph illustrates the results of an examination of tourists having a trip to Bowen Island about its pros and cons.
It is clear that while the cost of living was the main disadvantage of this island, holidaymakers were likely to have positive responses to its landscape and inhabitants. However, tourists not seemed to be very keen on the island’s culture and accommodation as well as it’s local food.
As can be seen from the chart of the island’s cons, while the living cost according to tourists was a problem of the island with half of the unsatisfied holidaymakers, the figure for food just accounted for 10%. Furthermore, the percentage of tourists complaining about entertainment was quite high, 25%, 10% higher than people being unhappy with the weather.
Regarding some advantages of the island, local people seemed the main attraction with 42% of visitors loving this characteristic. However, there were just 12% of people being willing to its culture. Besides, while the landscape of this island was attracted around 35% of tourists, there were just around 11% of people being satisfied with the accommodation.
