In regard to Australia, 100 units of electricity were produced in 1980, which a half of it was coal. Beside that, the source of natural gas, hydro power and oil at the first time took up half total production then only got 1/4 of total. When it comes to France, less 10 units were created than Australia in 1980, however there was a distinct change from Australia was the presence of nuclear power. The quantities of 1980 generated from natural gas or coal were equal, at 25 units, compared to 20 units produced from oil. Thereafter, in the year 2000, nuclear power became much more popular, which was used to produce 126 out of 180 units in the total production. Strikingly, Oil and Coal are the two fuel sources that still remain unchanged after two decades.
