The given diagrams compares the percentage of participants in different cultural and leisure activities between two genders.
It is clearly that both males and females participate in three activities: listening to music, reading and playing computer games. In addition, there are differences in types of activities between both sexes.
As is presented in the pie charts, while 21% of girls' hobbies is reading, only 2% goes to male readers. Playing video games is a popular activity of boys occupying with 34%. This figure is twice as large as that of girls with 16%. Noticeably, there is a same proportion of boys and girls enjoying listening to music with 10%.
In terms of boys' activities, outdoor activities are more preferable. Approximately a quarter of boys keen on playing basketball, followed by those who playing football and skateboarding with 17% and 11% respectively. In contrast, girls prefer fitness sports ( dancing, gymnastics and netball). Dancing made up the largest share of total with 27%. Similarly, girls are more interested in netball after dancing with 15%. At the same time, 11% belongs to those enjoying gymnastics.
