The maps compare the current layout of Grange Park with that of 1920 when it first opened.
It is clear that there have been significant changes in the overall layout, with new places in the park.
The park has two entrances, one facing Arnold Avenue and the other Eldon street. Currently, a new underground car park has been built to the southeast of the park. In the middle of the park, a rose garden with four seats facing all directions overtakes the place of a fountain built in 1920. To the north of the rose garden, an amphitheatre for concerts which has been upgraded from a stage for musicians can be observed.
Although 2 rose gardens and numerous seats could be seen around the stage in 1920, there is only one rose garden to the south of the amphitheatre today. In the northeast of the park, there were a rose garden and a pond with water plants in 1920, but nowadays, cafe and children’s play area can be found in those places. To the south of this area, a glasshouse from 1920 has been demolished to make room for a water feature.
