the plans below show the site of an airport now how it will look after redevelopment next year.
The image mentioned below contains the two different plans of Southwest Airport, one of them is the current layout of the airport and the other one represents that “how it is going to look like in the upcoming future after development”.
Starting from the departure area, existing part possesses the checkin and the café, while if we consider the departure area after development; it has some added features as well such as bag drop and shops after clearing security portion.
If we look at arrivals section of future airport, it has some new features which includes café, ATM services and car hiring facility which are absent in current airport infrastructure.
The airport of the next year will be going to have more number of gates as compared to existing airport. There are 8 gates in existing structure and new airport will have 18 gates which is a huge difference so far.
Conclusively, the present airport will going to have more fascinating as well as added facilities by the time of next year after redevelopment.
