The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

The figures illustrate the current floor plan of an airport and its future changes after undorgoing redevelopment. Overall, the plans suggest that additional facilities will be installed within the areas dedicated to departures and arrivals and ten new gates are introdued.

Those arriving to the airport from a new location will have the option to use sky trains for transportation, while the current plan only provides walking space. Furthermore, the development process includes adding a cafe, an ATM, and a car hire service to the currently empty space located after the customs stance. An additional exit door will also be available.

As for the departure zone, a new entrance and a bag drop section are expected to be implemented within the entrance hall. Moreover, the current cafe will be relocated, allowing for the check-in area to be close to the bag drop. Featuring a new shop, the exit hall will also undergo development, making use of the previously empty space. Finally, the need for walking to the plane will be eliminated as travelers will have the benefit of riding sky trains instead.
