The plans below show a student room for two students and a student room for one student at an Australian university.
The two maps compare prices and features of two student rooms: one for two people and the other for one person at an Australian university.
Sharing a similar layout to the single room, the room for two people is still slightly more spacious and equipped with more furniture even though it costs less per person.
At 200 dollars per week, the single room is 6 meters in length and 2.5 meters in breadth. To the top left corner situated the bathroom, which is opposite the kitchen areas with a range of appliances such as a sink, a stove and a microwave. The only study desk in the room is between the bathroom and the bed, which has a window view. There is also a television across the room, from the study desk.
Being 1.5 m wider, the room for two people charges 350 dollars weekly. It is notable that the interior is similar to that of a single for the most part, with several deviations. Not only is there a bookshelf added next to bathroom but the kitchen area is also rearranged along the width of the room, giving space for a table and chairs and the television. The extra space at the bottom is occupied by the study and sleeping area for the second student, separated from that for the first one by two cupboards.
