The plans show an office in a university in 2005 and the same office now.
The plans depict the modifications made to the layout of a university’s office between 2005 and the present day.
Overall, the place has witnessed significant changes, prominent of which is the openness of the main room as well as the accommodation of new facilities. Nevertheless, the room in the northwestern part of the office has stayed unchanged throughout the years.
As per the diagram, the northeastern room and the rectangular-shaped one in the southwestern part of the workplace have been demolished to create a more open working space for employees. Additionally, the remaining desks and chairs in those aforementioned rooms have been assembled and resituated at the back of the office directly facing the door.
In addition, the armchairs have also been relocated to the area adjacent to the water cooler and the coffee machine, and there have been installations of a new sofa and a table. Noticeably, however, the filing cabinets and the photocopier on the right-hand side of workers coming in from the entrance have been left untouched throughout the period. Last but not least, the notice board flanking the mentioned cabinets has been moved next to the remaining room of the office.
