The process for recycling plastic bottles
The given graph illustrates the procedure in which plastic bottles are recycled.
Overall, the recycling process renders disused plastic containers to transform into useful products by going through different processing stages.
In the first few stages, used bottles are thrown away in a designated trash bin. The bottles are collected by a garbage truck. In the next step, the amassed bottles go through a process of sorting in a recycling center. After that, the qualified bottles are compressed into separate blocks. Two cogwheels are then utilized to crush the blocks into small debris, which then undergo a process of washing with water.
In the following stages, the cleansed debris enters a specified machine that helps to produce plastic pellets. Moving on, the pellets are heated so that they can become raw material, which will be processed to create a diversity of end products. After finishing their life cycles, these products will be gotten rid of and again enter the recycling process.
