Some people think that instead of preventing climate change, we need to find a way to live with it. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Some people consider that people should find a way to live in global warming conditions instead of looking for a method to prevent climate change. I personally do not share a similar point of view with the statement because of the consequences led by climate change.
The increasing global temperature has led to global concern because this phenomenon causes grave consequences such as environmental damage which causes unimaginable for human beings. First of all, one of the problems caused by a bad environment is air pollution resulting in an increasing number of health problems. Lung cancer, for instance, is a communicable disease linked with bad air conditions. This illness had caused the casualty of more than 1 million people in recent decades. If people are able to avoid global warming, this deadly consequence may not have occurred and many people are able to enjoy good lives.
Another problem causes by environmental damage is the distinction of sea creatures. Scientists have stated that in recent years more than 5% of fish and other sea living things have disappeared from their habitats. Many scientific findings have found a correlation of this phenomenon with damaging water bodies such as the sea or rivers. If this unnatural occurrence continues, human beings may face grave catastrophes such as a lack of food which leads to humanitarian crises such as global hunger.
To sum up, the idea of finding a way to live in climate change is not a logical solution due to the fact that this unnatural occurrence may lead to a future global crisis in the future. Thus, I believe that people have to look for a suitable solution to solve this issue.
