The given table and bar chart demonstrates the amount of time spent by males and females on household chores and recreational activities in Britain.

Overall, it can be noticed that both the sexes are spending least time on sports related activities, and most time on household chores.

In the given graph, both the genders are spending the highest amount of time on doing cleaning and washing, which is just above 20 minutes for men, and just below 80 minutes for women. However, a fair amount of time, just around 20 minutes and 40 minutes are spent by both men and women on shopping respectively. Although, both the genders have contradicting involvement in repair works and clothes washing and ironing, with men contributing less in washing and ironing and vice versa.

On the contrary, the table shows that the maximum amount of time is spent on TV, Video and Radio, which is just around couple of hours for both the sexes. In addition, both males and females are only spending under 20 minutes on reading and sports activities.
