The given table and bar graph illustrate the time spent on free-time activities and household activities in Britain.
Overall, it is clear from both table and bar graph that, men has spent more time on leisure activities where the majority of time on household activities spent more by women.
According to the table that, men has spent 137 minutes on TV, video, and on radio and 15 minutes on sport where women spent less time on this kind of activities. Females spent 118 minutes on TV, video, and on radio which fall slightly compared with men where only 11 minutes spent on sport. In reading activities, both men and women spent about equal time. Men spent 18 minutes and women spent 19 minutes per day.
The bar chart beholds the time spent on household activities. Both men and women spent the greatest number of time on cooking and washing. Men spent only around 30 minutes but women escalate sharply and do this activity for around about 75 minutes. Women also spent more time on shopping and clothes washing and ironing than men. They spent just about 35 minutes on shopping and 30 minutes on clothes washing and ironing. Interestingly, activities of repair, men spent more time just under 30 minutes but women spent only half of minutes than of men.
