agram given compare the amount of money for police in one region of the UK between 2017 and 2018. The table presents the sources of fund while the pie charts below illustrate how the fund was used.
We can see that the police budget rose over the period shown, and National Government contributed the largest amount. In term of spending, the money primarily used for wages of officers and staffs.
Looking at the table in more details, the majority money of police budget came from National Government, at over 175 million pounds in 2017 and reached at nearly 178 million pounds in 2018. In addition, Local Taxes recorded the greatest increased by approximately 10 million pounds. Ranked at third position, other sources maintained stable in two years at about 38 million pounds.
From the side of pie chart, the primarily amount of police budget is invested in wages for officers and staffs. In the year 2018 witnessed a decrease in the percentage of money which used for salaries, from 75% to 69%. In contrast, the proportion of Technology's money grew significantly to the second position in 2018, by 6%. Finally, the amount divided for Buildings and transport unchanged in two years.
