The table and pie charts illustrate the changes in policy finance of different sources and how the money was expensed in one place of Britain from 2017 to 2018.
Overall, it is clear that all sources had an upward trend. While the national government was the primary source in both years that earned much money for the policy budget, the opposite was true for other sources (eg grants). In terms of distribution, the policy spent the majority on salaries.
In 2017, the policy of the national government was 175.5 million pounds, in comparison with local taxes, only 91.2 million pounds. However, following 1 year, both sources had risen significantly to 177.8 and 102.3 million pounds. Meanwhile, the policy finance of other sources (eg grants) was 4 times smaller than the national government, only 38 million pounds and this figure for other grants had grown slightly to 38.5 million pounds at the end of the period. Finally, the total policy budget in 2018 was higher than in 2017, at 318.6 million pounds in 2018 and only 304.7 in 2017.
Looking at the chart, the percentage of money spent on officers and staff in 2017 was 75% and the figure for money decreased slightly to 69% in 2018. Moreover, the policy distributed for buildings and transport was similar in 2 years, about 17%. And technology was expensed the least, only 8% in 2017, and then rose slightly by 6%.
