The most striking feature is the tube in London was opened in the late 19 century, which was the eldest and had the furthest range of route with around 400 km. In contrast, railroad services in Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC and Kyoto began in the 20 century, and its total length of road ranged from approximately 126 km to nearly 200km. Interestingly, the entire count of passengers in Tokyo accounted for the largest at roughly 2000 million which were over a double from London.

In the meantime, underground services in Kyoto and Los Angeles had quite similar patterns regarding the total distance of way as well as the number of visitors per year. The former contained only 11km with 45 million people, whereas the latter involved more or less 28km and a half million per year, which both were set up a quite recently.
