The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods
The chart illustrates how many people visit Ashdown Museum in two periods of time, before and after its redecoration, as well as demonstrating the result of questionnaires on the satisfaction level of visitors.
Overall, It could be seen easily that after the refurbishment the number of people coming to Ashdown Museum increased, accompanied by the positive trend in the level of satisfaction.
Having a closer look at the table, during the year before refurbishment, 74,000 visitors chose the Ashdown Museum as their destination. In the second period of the survey, the figure grew into 92,000.
Furthermore, a massive 40% of visitors felt dissatisfied before the redecoration, followed by only under one-third of them satisfied. However, after the refurbishment, the rate of visitors feeling satisfied increased by 10%, therefore accounting for the biggest part of the pie, while the figure for dissatisfied declined sharply to only 15%. In the same period, the number of visitors feeling very satisfied grew significantly by 20%, whereas the statistic for very dissatisfied decreased by half. The data on no response remains unchanged, at only 5%.
