The table given illustrates at what rate people of seven countries saved money in the years between 1990 and 2008. Unit of measurements are percentage GDP.
Overall, the table indicates that the rate of saving money in three countries of China, India, and Singapore increased in the years between 1990 and 2008. However, in Germany, the saving rate fell down first and then grew again which was just the opposite of the America. It means that in the United States, the rate of saving climbed up first and then it declined again. South Korea was the only country which the rate of money saving decreased for the whole period of mentioned time.
In comparison, in 1990 and 2000, the highest rate of saving was belonged to Singapore and the United States showed the lowest percentage of saving money with the differences of 23.8% and 29.2% GDP respectively.
However, in 2008, China contained the highest rate of saving 53.2% GDP and the United States still had the lowest rates of saving money which was 12.1% GDP.
