The table illustrates the percentagewise global market share of computer manufacturing companies in 2006 and 2007.
Overall, HP contributed the maximum market share, while Fujitsu-Siemens had lowest share in both years. However, there were some fluctuations in the market share from the year 2006 to 2007.
HP accounted for 31.4% of share in the year 2006 and rose to three percent in 2007, being the major contributor in the worldwide share market. Similarly, others contribution was 22.8% in share market which significantly decreased to 19.3% in 2007.
Furthermore, there were three companies, HP, Dell, Toshiba whose market share was comparitevely higher in 2007 than the previous year. Interestingly, Lenovo’s global share was almost constant in both years , whereas companies such as Acer,Fujitsu and others involvement in share market was minimum iwith regard to 2006.
