The table illustrates some data about the selling amounts of books in a college bookshop in February 2000.
Overall, we can make the conclusion that magazines was the most popular books among people. And besides that, most of the people preferred to choose non-fiction as their reading books. However, fiction books was the least popular books in the bookshop.
The majority of consumers in bookshops were non-book club members. Among this group, college students, accounted for the highest number of people in this group totally, bought 31 fictions, 194 non-fictions, and 1249 magazines; while college staff bought 44 fictions, 29 non-fictions, and 332 magazines. Although non-fiction books has been sold 122 books to public people, fiction books didn’t have been sold to any public people.
The bookshops also had some club members who purchased some books in this shop. It is obvious selling amount of non-fictions stood out in the total purchases of club members, with 942 books. And the rest of two kinds of books, fiction and magazines, were not often bought by club members, which is 76 and 33 respectively.
