Writing Task 1

The chart consist of data pertaining to the consumption pattern of various foods in the year 2005, present and also a projection of the year 2025. This data is collected in Melbourne and is represented in units.

In the year 2005 shows the highly consumed dish would be Hambuger at 40 units. The second highest consumption would be Fried Chicken at 35 units. Thirdly the Fried Rice and Noodles are consumed equally at 6 units each. Lastly Salad the consumption is at 5 units.

In the Present though there is a reduced consumption of Hambuger it still remains the highly consumed food at 38 units. Dishes such as Fried Chicken ,Salad, Fried Rice and Noodles have been consumed more when compared to 2005 at 37 units, 15 units, 9 units and 8 units respectively.

The projection for the year 2025 states that not only will the consumption of Hambuger have an upward trend in consumption, but also be the highly consumed food in the year 2025 at 51 units. Following which Fried Chicken is consumed at 45 units, which would be higher than the past years. Salad's consumption will increase many folds to 41 units. Fried Rice's consumption will be the same as that of the present. A slight increase in the consumption of noodles at 9 units in the year 2025.

To conclude we can clearly say that unlike the historical data from the year 2005 the projected data for the year 2025 will show vast difference in the consumption pattern.
