The table gives information about the female workforce and female managers in five countries.
The table provides data about the total female workforce and those who are working as a manager in five different countries namely Australia, Egypt, Japan, Sri Lanka and The United States.
Overall, the United States and Australia has more gender-balanced labor force as compared in Egypt and Sri Lanka where men outnumbered those women who are working.
To begin with, regarding the total workforce, almost half of the population of workers in United States and Australia are female (46% and 42% respectively). This is followed closely by Japan wherein 41% of the job positions belong to women, while the number of female working in Sri Lanka and Egypt are lesser at 37% and 20% accordingly.
Turning to women who is in managerial position, United States and Australia also have almost the same number with men working as managers having 43% for the former and 41% for the latter. On the contrary, a significant imbalance in gender-based working population can be noted on the other three countries. Egypt and Japan both have only 12% of the managers position as female and Sri Lanka only has 9% in the management position as women.
