It is clear that people showed their preference for beer and chicken rather than other types of food in 1992, 2002 and 2012.
There was an increase in the number of people spending on chicken from 1992 to 2012: about 38 million of euros in 1992, 41 million of euros in 2002, 56 million of euros in 2012 while the amount spent on coffee dropped from 9 million of euros in 1992 to 7 million of euros in 2002. In addition to, the expenditure on coffee remained the same stable at 7 million of euros in 2012. Besides, the amount spent on beef had a fluctuation over the period: about 45 million of euros in 1992, 43 million of euros in 2002 and 54 million of euros in 2012.
In 2002, the expenditure on potatoes was twice as much as those on coffee: about 14 million of euros and 7 million of euros. The amount spent on beef was high in comparison with those on chicken in 1992 while the expenditure on chicken was bigger than those on beef in 2012.
