The table illustrates the figure for acreage of forest which measured by millions of hectares in six countries over 15 years between 1990 and 2005.
Overall, there was an upward trend for Asia and Europe's forest area while four other countries decreased over the period shown.
It is clear that Europe began at 989 hectares of forested land in 1990, then increased gradually in fifteen following years. about Asia, it started at 576 in the first year, then fall to 570 one decade later, and increased considerably at 584 million hectares just in the next half-decade.
With regards to the number of acreage of forest resources of other four countries from 1990 to 2000, Africa and South America decreased dramatically up to around 40 million hectares, compared to 3 and 1 in North America and Oceania respectively. In the last five years, Africa, south America, and Oceania continue above bias, north America remained as in 2000, at 705 millions of hectares.
