Essay topics:

Task 1: The diagram shows how chocolate is produced. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram reveals the way that chocolate is made.

Overall, the process consists of ten stages from the plantation of cacao trees to the production of liquid chocolate.
In the first step, cacao trees are nurtured in several parts of the world such as South America, Africa, and Indonesia to collect ripe red pods. Next, the pods are cracked with a special metal tool, and the white beans inside these pods are then harvested. After that, these white beans are covered in banana leaves in a certain time before being exposed to the sun. Once the beans are dry enough and has turned brown, they are weighted and placed in similar bags.

The next step is to deliver the bags to manufacturing houses. Subsequently, beans are roasted in a large oven at 350 C. Then, they are put in a professional machine to get rid of their shells and crush the remaining parts into smaller pieces. Finally, the beans are liquefied and become liquid chocolate.
