The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The two maps represent the major changes to an island following the construction of several buildings for tourists, and in the next few paragraphs we are going to discuss these changes.
First, the island which was around 200 meters long was empty and dull, with nothing but some trees and a beach to the far west of the island and no place for people to live and accommodate.
Later on, the island became in some ways inhabitable and lively as a result of constructions that facilitate life on the island. Firstly, we can see houses built to the east and west of the island for those who need to spend the weekend on the island. Moreover, there are footpaths connecting all the houses on the island and extending to the furthest western point which is the beach. Furthermore, there’s a restaurant north of the island and a pier to the south of it. In the center, we can also find a reception surrounded by a car track which can lead to both the restaurant and the pier.
All in all, the previous was a description of the modifications made to the island and how these modifications affected the liveliness of it.
