The maps illuatrate the view of the island pre and post construction of tourist amenities.
Overal, before any changes were made, the island was occupied by trees only and no signs of human activities, as there were no footpath or vehicle tracks. It can be clearly seen, after construction of tourist facilities like accomodation and restaurant were now available. The area is also accessible as there is a footpath and vehicle track to the Island. Leisure activities such as swimming and boating were put in place after construction.

Despite, the Island having a beach before, it was not accessible, but post construction pedestrian and automobile road were put in place. Comparing pre and post changes, the later has easy access to the Island.
No recreational facilities were available, as the resort was domant. Highlighted on the map, after major changes were put, leisure activities like swimming and boating were added to the Island, however, this differentiate the first map from the second one.
