The maps depict the layout of roads to get to the city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
The roads have been redesigned to better manage parking spaces. Also, roundabouts are being favoured over intersections at major road crossings.
There used to be a single road from the hospital to the city towards the south, flanked by bus stops (the Hospital Road). A shared public and staff parking space was present on the eastern side of that road, which could be accessed from the ring road around the hospital.
In 2010, the parking spaces have been segregated for staff and public, with the staff parking remaining at the original location, and a new space built on the eastern side of hospital. It is still accessed from the ring road, which remains unchanged.
Both the intersections of the Hospital Rd. (with the City Road and the Ring Road), have been replaced by roundabouts; meanwhile the bus stops have been replaced by a bus station. It is on the western side of the Hospital Road and can be accessed from both the roundabouts.
