The graph below shows radio and television audiences throughout the day in 1992.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The line-graph illustrates the rate of broadcast audiences per UK population (over 4 years-old) in 24 hours daily during October-December in 1992.

Overall, the collected data showed a bell-shape figure for both entertainment tools, of which, the number of people who enjoyed watching television dominated the number of people choosing to listen radio from 01p:m until 06a:m of the next day.

According to the line-graph, only 8 percentage of UK population listened to radio at 06 a:m then this rate increased gradually until it reached peak at about 25% at 9:00 at the morning before experiencing a continuous downward trend until the end of the day with the ending point at around under 5% of population.

By contrast, the number of TV audiences showed a fluctuated trend from 06a:m to 12a:m with the rate under 15%, then rose sharply until reaching almost 50% at around 9 p:m. However, it dramatically declined to 2% at around 3:00 at the morning of next day. Then, the rate remained unchanged until 06a:m when people are awake for new day.
