The line graph indicates the ratio of people in UK who watches television and listen radio for whole day in the year 1992. Percentage shows on Y-axis while, X-axis describes notation of 24 hours.
It is clearly seen that the idiot box usage rate was drastically increased after 15 hours and it reached to the peak of 45% at 21 hours.The starting point of the radio was around 3% and it keeps fluctuating throughout the time.
From 1 hours, the proportion of seeing black box was approximately 6% and was stable till 11 hours. After that, there was sudden rise at 13 hours by 15%. Between 17 to 21 hours people spend most of their time in watching television and dramatically decreased at 23 hours up to 15%.
Radio utilization was started with a slow pace, then it stays unchanged up to 6 hours. Then it exponentially grew to around 25% at 9 hours then slowly declined to almost 3% at 24 hours.
