Dear James,
How are you? Hope you are doing good? It is almost a year now since we have met. Last time probably we had met during the party of our common friend on the occasion of his wedding.
The reason why I am writing to you now is to share the interesting facts about an article which I had read recently in our company monthly magazine. The article is about time management and effective written communication. The article is being written by one of our senior managers.
The article talks about managing time effectively between personal and professional life. Moreover, what is the effective way of writing email to a client? There are multifarious reasons why I like the article. Firstly, in our day to day work we always struggle to manage our time effectively. Thus, we all land up spending extra hours in the office than our normal working hours. Secondly, sometimes while communicating with client we are not quite sure what kind of language we should use. Therefore, we are always worried whether our email is too formal or informal in terms of a language. However, after reading this article, now I have better understanding on these 2 facts.
Hence, if you want to read more on this article. Just go through the August edition.
I am looking forward to hearing your personal views.
Regards
Michael

We can always find out 'little flaws' in your essays though they are not big. for example:
You said:
It is almost a year now since we have met.
We would like:
It has been a long time since we last met.
Also you have grammatical issues to prevent you get 7.5.
The issues are mostly in the introduction paragraph. You developed the essay body very well.
