A friend you met last year has invited you to visit him in his country. You have never been there before and need some information before you leave. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter request advice about a gift for his/her family, ask about activities and clothing and find out about the food. Write at least 150 words.
Dear James
How are you? Hope you are doing well. Many thanks for inviting me to Australia as it is a dream come true for me and my family. Thus, we are really excited to meet you all. However, I am worried also because of some of the questions that I have in my mind before visiting to Melbourne.
Firstly, how is weather there, should I carry some woolen clothes as I heard in Australia it would be winter starting from month of June until December. Secondly, as I am vegetarian hope there would be good restaurants nearby to have vegetarian meal, after all you and your family is non-vegetarian and we do not want to bother you for the food. Finally, what are the different places for sightseeing as I would be coming with my family; I do not want to miss any star attractions.
In addition, as I would be coming first time to your place I wanted to purchase some gifts for you and your family. Kindly confirm whether you would like a gift made of brass. I know it is not appropriate to ask this question; however, I thought it better to know your interest
I am looking forward to hearing soon from you. Moreover, we are eager to meet you all.
Regards
Sunil
