Dear Sir,
Last Friday, I was traveling to Delhi from Chandigarh by train for a business meeting. I had to reach quickly in the morning to Delhi and this is only reason I booked a morning journey train from Chandigarh railway station to New Delhi railway station. However, I was unable to reach on time and the train arrived to the destination three hours late.
Let me explain you briefly the cause of delay. There was truck struck on the railway track at a level crossing and train could not move which caused a delay. Apart from this, there was no extra railway track installed near the level crossing for such cases to prevent the late train journey. After waiting for more than two hours, one of your technical staff took action which was very incompetent service by your railway services. As a result, I reached around 3'o clock in the afternoon instead of midnoon.
Besides, I arrived late at the meeting, and it was reschedule on the next day. Due to this, I had to stay in Delhi for a night at hotel because I could not take a risk of getting late. And, it caused me a good amount of living expense. From your inconveniency caused by the above incident and reaching late, I had to suffer my time as well as money which are both significantly important things to everyone. Thus, I request you to please provide a refund of my travel journey in order to reduce my suffering as I cannot get the time back which had already been gone.
