Dear Serena,

I am very excited to know that you will be visiting us during the summer holiday's. I too will be on leave during that time and can show you around. Could you please let me know your date of arrival and for how long do you intend to stay?

Once here, you definitely need to visit me and my family as we are all looking forward to meet you. Then you can visit Garden's by the Bay in the evening, they put up a lovely light show and you should not miss it. Visiting Sentosa should also be a part of the itinerary as it's one of the key attraction for tourists. Also make a trip to the zoo and watch their birds and animal show. Take a walk down Chinatown and Little India to experience their culture and food. You can travel around using either public transport or cycle as they are more convenient. Stop by the beach to catch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the cool breeze while sipping on sugarcane juice.

In addition, please make sure to try out the local cuisines which are available in various food courts. Since, you enjoy sea food, try out freshly barbecued fish and prawns. Even though the national dish of Singapore is chili crab, you also have to try the pepper crab. Please let me know if you need any help during your stay, I will be happy to oblige.

Looking forward to meeting you. Have a safe trip.

Your Friend,
Katie.
